Oakland Schools Field Services

 Who We Are   Contacting the Service Desk 
Oakland Schools Field Services provides partnering districts with a full range of onsite and centrally managed technology services. Districts utilizing this service realize increases in operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction while directing savings back to the classroom.

Lamphere Schools has three on-site, full-time Oakland Schools employees who handle the day to day technology tickets and operations like in previous years. Our technology director and network administrator will be in district multiple days per week. Additional network and service desk support hosted out of Oakland Schools ISD in Waterford is available as well to support our in district staff. 

More information will be provided in the coming days regarding our new technology ticketing process.


  The Oakland Schools ServiceDesk is open Monday – Friday, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., with multiple ways to contact us:
  • Customer Portal -  Customers can search our knowledge base for answers, create, track, update tickets without calling the Service Desk
  • Live Chat – Located in our customer portal; you will connect with a live technician in real-time
  • Call – Give us a call at 248-209-2060 to speak to a representative

How do I access the Service Desk ticketing system?

The first step in accessing our customer portal and live chat is creating your account in our ticketing system. Attached are the Creating an OS Service Desk Account step-by-step instructions on making your user account using your district-provided email address. If you have already used our ticketing system for other support needs, you are all set!

Creating a Service Desk ticket is quick and easy to do, giving the customer the ability to provide detailed information and attach documents or screenshots that will assist the technicians in troubleshooting or resolving your technology requests.
