Kids Read Now - All incoming 1st - 5th graders will receive 8 books that were selected by students. These books will be delivered to students’ homes throughout the summer.

BookNook Tutoring - Identified and invited 4th and 5th graders will participate in a virtual literacy tutoring program through a grant that we received from the Michigan Department of Education.

In-Person Math and Reading Support Summer School - Identified and invited Kdg - 3rd graders will attend summer school at Simonds Elementary from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday, July 10 - August 3, 2023.

MAP Accelerator - Incoming 4th - 5th grade students will be able to access MAP Accelerator throughout the summer to continue working on math practice. Below are directions on how to access MAP Accelerator:

MAP Accelerator is a research based program through KHAN Academy that links your own personal NWEA scores to specific skills aimed to further develop and enhance your mathematical skills and thinking. It is free for all Lamphere students in grades 3-8. We hope you take advantage of this program!
