Our John Page Middle School Forensic Science classes are deep into an intriguing investigation! Using Locard's Exchange Principle in forensic science, students have been unraveling the mystery surrounding the demise of Hester Higgins, the beloved stuffy of Murphy, our school’s Service dog. Initially discovered near the Guidance Office, investigators suspect Hester Higgins met an unfortunate end elsewhere within our halls before being discarded.
CSI teams have identified crucial fabric debris that may hold clues to pinpointing the primary crime scene among 7 potential locations. Stay tuned as our budding detectives continue to piece together this compelling puzzle!

From a funny comment and classroom full of laughter to a student who thought it was a great idea and followed through. The proof is in the picture.
This Edmonson 4th grader was sooooo excited to buy her teacher coffee that she got up at 6am by herself, got herself ready, and made everyone else in the house get up early for this to happen. In Lamphere, we call this responsibility and dedication.
The student said it made her day, little does she know it REALLY made her teacher's day! #WeAreLamphere

A big thank you to LEST (Lessenger Elementary Supportive Team) for bringing author Jeff Chamberlain to Lessenger Elementary to share his heartwarming book, The Dog with the Crooked Tail. Every first grader received their own copy of the book and a fun backpack charm! The visit reminded us all about the importance of kindness and how each of us is truly special.
